Engineer very tiny electronics, and brew beer, and hang out with my wife/kids, watch Nic Cage movies and check The National Forum at least once every day or two.March 3, 2013 at 11:43 pm #1848
I work in the worlds tiniest picture framing shop by day. In my spare time I am a costume designer (just going to casually drop my website in here)
Just sat here with a puzzled expression on my face for the last two minutes, trying to recall what else I do with my time. I think it’s mainly watching Road Wars and drinking tea.March 4, 2013 at 2:11 am #1854
I’m still a student in college (I’m 23) studying English and Communications. I’m also a writer. Last year in one of my creative writing classes, I made a reference to The National in every single piece I wrote.March 4, 2013 at 7:26 pm #1865
Real life??? You mean there’s more to life than The National?
Seriously though, I’m a full time student studying Mathematics and Physics, hoping to go to Grad School in the US when I’m finished in Ireland.
I’m currently on an internship in the semiconductor devices manufacturing industry.
Last year in one of my creative writing classes, I made a reference to The National in every single piece I wrote.
I used to do that with Muse lyrics (back when I was big Muse fan) in English class 🙂 Always good funMarch 4, 2013 at 7:47 pm #1866

dull to some, but I like my jobMarch 5, 2013 at 4:57 pm #1894
Love hearing about the whole yous.
IRL I stalk AHM because he makes me laugh. Which is necessary as I also work with kids in school, and am in my second year of training to be a counsellor. So tell me about your childhoods.
Otherwise I swim, yoga, meditate, surf, write, and bang the drums. Not all at once.March 5, 2013 at 5:37 pm #1899
Books. Booksbooksbooksbooksbooks. When I’m at work I order books and when I’m at home I read books and when I’m asleep I dream about books and when I’m in the shower I think about books I need to order. Lately though I’ve been married which cuts into my reading time, luckily in a not at all unpleasant way. He also loves books. And cats. We have cats.
Seafret: Anything you would want to know about my childhood, you can get from reading the Adult Children of Alcoholics book followed by the forthcoming Neil Gaiman book, The Ocean at the End of the Lane.March 5, 2013 at 6:49 pm #1904
I am an English – Writing Studies graduate student, working on my Master’s Thesis (social media & journalism).
I also run my school’s Writing Center in the absence of an actually Writing Center Director.
Part-time I am a journalist for a local online newspaper. And sometimes I work with the NJ Devils, doing community outreach with their street team. Neither of these have happened lately though, so I don’t think I still have those jobs.
For the record, I am not paid well for any of this.March 6, 2013 at 11:15 am #1913
I know somethings about some people, but not much about others.
Mr.Bio, I think what you do is incredible and not dull at all. You also do something tremendeously positive which is totally awesome genius.
Seafret – no idea that is what you were training to do that. That is also on my to do list in a few years when I decide to grow up. I will be getting your advice! To me, you were always amazing mother/enthusiastic drummer.
That’s right, I am a poet too!March 6, 2013 at 8:56 pm #1933
<… nothing about herself…>
I’m noticing a pattern here. You start these (wonderful) threads that make our nice little family bond and our relationships flourish, but somehow you always avoid becoming a participant. I know you don’t have the word “participant” under your name, but that doesn’t mean you can’t participate…
Maryforum: Can we get a downgrade to “Participant” for LH? At least long enough for her to participate?
