January 15, 2013 at 10:18 pm #331 moonboomParticipant ExitMusic, album = Passage, its awesome. Lead singer is Aleksa Palladino and starred in Boardwalk Empire. Give them a few listens and you’ll be hooked. Make a great support band for The National I reckon they’re based in Brooklyn as well!!! January 16, 2013 at 3:43 am #380 LogicalHarmModerator Prime. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I know noone cares but I just need to squeel about this song some more. Keep listening. This eventually got into my top 5 of 2012. Great Stuff. January 16, 2013 at 10:14 pm #457 MultipleMikeParticipant I can’t get into that Walkmen album aside from two or three songs. Oh well. January 17, 2013 at 5:12 pm #518 Dolled Up in StrapsParticipant I am bored with my music collection and desperately need a new album. You guys know what I listen to and what I like better than just about anybody else. Help! Looking for something new (at least to me), upbeat and motivating. (Technical illustration for work…. I need something that will make it go faster!) January 17, 2013 at 5:24 pm #521 vile bastardParticipant May I suggest “These Four Walls” by We Were Promised Jetpacks? They are a Scottish band and the singer still has a slight brogue – unlike Jamie in Broken Records who opts for “mid-atlantic” vocals. January 17, 2013 at 5:44 pm #524 Dolled Up in StrapsParticipant Oh disappointment…. the first new Clogs track available is some awful hippie campfire kumbaya shit (sorry, Bryce… I can’t handle it. Pining for more polyrhythms and Shara Worden cameos please.) On to WWPJ. I have listened to them at some point. I don’t remember which album, but I’ll give 4 walls a shot. Thanks for the recommendation. January 18, 2013 at 7:27 am #554 RylanParticipant The Strokes – Trying your luck. this song is like the soundtrack for this week.
