Started Homeland on Saturday and have just finished Season 2…it has been an intense week. Keep on watching, it gets better and better.
Oh man, around Thanksgiving while the second season still had some episodes left, I tore through all the first season and the episodes that had aired so quickly. I think binge-watching Homeland was a fantastic decision.
Just made it through Game of Thrones 1&2 – sometimes three episodes a night. Not healthy. Had forgotten that Matt had contributed and was floored by the beauty of his vocals. Don’t know what I enjoyed more – Matt or Jon Snow’s hair.
So adios both Dexter and Breaking Bad. To make matters worse there is just one more series of Mad Men left to air.
Where are the quality replacements?
Breaking Bad (in particular) will be missed. My only regret is that barring a surprise twist in the last episode Skyler White (the woman with an oscillating moral compass) has not been battered to death by Walt.
(nb. I see that a spin-off from Breaking Bad is to go into production. The fantastic news is that “Better Call Saul” will be a prequel and might reprise some of the demised characters from BB. Who doesn’t love Saul Goodman?)
Wife and I have been watching quite a bit of Game of Thrones lately, unfortunately we only have a couple episodes left in season 3. Other than that, it’s been all Big Brother (a summer-time staple for us).
Quite a big fan of Stephen Merchant’s new show, Hello Ladies. Very awkward humor, sometimes perhaps too awkward for it’s own good. About a single guy trying to impress and date women basically. Anyone seen it?
Gutted that TNT have cancelled “Southland” after five series.
Was there or will there ever be a more realistic hard hitting cop series?
Watching, I felt like I was riding in the black and whites with LA’s finest!
My only problem was seeing Ryan from the OC as officer Ben Sherman and wondering where was Sandy?
