I know we have our very own awesome Wino Choir, but what instruments do y’all play, what talents do you possess? I know there’s a whole bunch of skill and musical inclination here which always makes it an exciting place to be.
I just bought a Soprano Ukulele today. If anyone wants to give me some top tips, i’d be grateful!March 1, 2013 at 7:36 am #1754

I gave up trying to play music after I realized that I’m much better at being a fan than I am at performing.March 1, 2013 at 6:49 pm #1773

My thoughts exactly. There was a certain peace that came over me when I finally came to this conclusion.March 2, 2013 at 3:40 pm #1790
LH thanks for reminding me, I’v been meaning to get a Ukulele for a while 🙂
I play drums, and am happy to say that I have obtained about a 1ooth of the awesomeness of one B. Devendorf (which I’m pretty happy with), I also dabble in guitar (not particularly proficient there though :D).
Myself and a friend of mine recorded some demos last year where I was forced to sing as well (just until such time as we get a real vocalist), it’s not pretty :D.March 3, 2013 at 11:58 pm #1851

I play guitar, but poorly.
I can also drum, but only to White Stripes songs.
And I know the bassline from Blood and Roses by The Smithereens.
Yup.May 12, 2013 at 8:02 am #6307
I play bass. I have 3 of them including 1 fretless.
I have an acoustic guitar and a violin as well.
I used to play violin as a kid and was really good, but I have only recently started playing again. All the knowledge is their but the tone and the skill isn’t. its very very frustrating but when I get it right it sounds great. most of the time it sounds terrible.May 18, 2013 at 9:01 pm #7235

If you wanna share, just share! If we wanna hear, we’ll listen!
Now share. I’ll listen.
I, myself, dabble in the arts of the guitar and maybe some keys. My band has moved in with me and we have pretty high expectations which is funny since non of us know shit. But we really want change. We want to buy a shitty bus and tour parking lots. We drink beer and listen to Mötley Crüe every day to achieve this goal.May 18, 2013 at 11:05 pm #7239

It’s from some tiny island politics, referencing some right wingers. This country is in bits and I am playing with a loop pedal…May 19, 2013 at 11:32 pm #7354

Oooh, loop pedals are fun! Can you loop vocals too? I can only loop guitar.
